A Touch of Darkness by Victoria Ellis
A Touch of Darkness was an intriguing story. It kept me on my toes, surprising me as I read along, and I really enjoyed it.
This book is very dark, with its world kept hidden by humans, but our FMC knows that something sinister is going on. Sylvie and her twin sister, Lara, arrive at Blackthorne University, believing they are starting a new path in their lives. When Lara goes missing, Sylvie knows that something is not normal and refuses to accept that her sister is never coming back.
My favorite character is Lucian. He is powerful and has a broken soul, and I just loved him so much. He knows he made mistakes in the past, and he’s been waiting so long to remedy the situation.
This is a very cool story with awesome characters and evil creeping around the corner. The chemistry between the MCs is amazing, and I just need more of it!
