I’m obsessed with the Twisted Worlds series. Last year, I read Within the Darkening Woods, a cozy fantasy with a beautiful world description that made me feel like I was in the woods in the middle of fall. Above the Ashen Clouds is set in the same world but in a different location. The vibes are still there, and there are even more amazing characters.

Cat is such a fun character. She wants to know everything about the new mythical beings that have arrived, so she dedicates her thesis to discovering everything about them, especially the Angels. She grows so much during the story, and I really enjoyed her.

I thought Eldrin would be forever my favorite, but Zadriel is such a great MMC that he won my heart. I love how moody he is and protective of his world. The relationship with Cat is wonderful, so intellectual and respectful; I’m obsessed. One of my favorite tropes is fated mates, and Scarlett does it perfectly.

I liked this book so much; the plot was so intriguing, and it kept me glued to the pages. Thank you so much, Scarlett, for the opportunity to read this as an ARC.

Estoy obsesionada con la serie Twisted Worlds. El año pasado leí Within the Darkening Woods, una acogedora fantasía con una hermosa descripción del mundo que me hizo sentir como si estuviera en el bosque en pleno otoño. Above the Ashen Clouds está ambientado en el mismo mundo pero en una ubicación diferente. Las vibras siguen ahí y hay personajes aún más sorprendentes.

Cat es un personaje muy divertido. Quiere saber todo sobre los nuevos seres míticos que han llegado, por eso dedica su tesis a descubrir todo sobre ellos, especialmente los Ángeles. Ella crece mucho durante la historia y realmente la disfruté.

Pensé que Eldrin sería para siempre mi favorito, pero Zadriel es un MMC tan bueno que se ganó mi corazón. Me encanta lo malhumorado que es y protector de su mundo. La relación con Cat es maravillosa, muy intelectual y respetuosa; estoy obsesionada. Uno de mis tropes favoritos es el de parejas predestinadas, y Scarlett lo hace a la perfección.

Me gustó mucho este libro; La trama fue muy intrigante y me mantuvo pegado a las páginas. Muchas gracias, Scarlett, por la oportunidad de leer esto como ARC.
