Hola!! In today’s Author spotlight, I’m introducing an author who means so much to me. Saying yes to reading her work and being part of her ARC team literally changed my life. Joining Astrid’s Instagram group opened the door not only to incredible people but also to challenging myself to be more present and daring myself to open up to new people, something that’s always been incredibly hard for me.
Besides forming a beautiful relationship with Astrid and the other bookstagrammers who were originally part of her ARC team, Astrid is talented AF. She is forever my evil Queen, because her books are from another planet, and they will destroy you emotionally.

Astrid released Diamond City, the first book in the Diamond City Series, in May of 2023, giving an explosive start to a wonderful Sci-fi/Paranormal romance story.
In February 2024, Astrid published the second book in the Diamond City Series: Emerald City. When I read this book, I knew first that Astrid has a very wide imagination, and second, that this series would only keep getting better. With a cliffhanger that almost broke me (and my Kindle), I couldn’t wait to learn what would happen to the story’s main characters, Sage and Damian.
After reading Emerald, I received book 3, Ruby City, as an ARC. Boy, oh boy, that book destroyed me. When you read this series, always remember that Astrid gains strength by drinking her readers’ tears.
Opal City, book 4, is coming in 2025, and I already have the ARC so stay tuned to my review!
