Feast of Fools is the second book in the Perverse City series. When I read Dance Macabre -book 1 -I loved how it was unapologetically dark, and Feast of Fools did not disappoint either.
I’m in love with the story of Gemini and Veil. Gemini is a great character. Being a servant of the God of Trickery makes him fun and devilishly misbehave. Veil was the perfect option for him, allowing him to grow.
Veil’s character starts out as an innocent girl who pickpockets to survive in the harsh city of Pravitia. However, when she starts discovering who she really is, her true self is fantastic.
