Hola!! Today, I’m starting with a more personal post. Throughout 2024, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the work of amazing authors and indie writers who are starting their careers and publishing incredible books.
Since I entered the world of ARCs (Advanced Readerโs Copy), I have become obsessed with indie authors. My duty on this earth (cue the drama) is to promote their beautiful work on all my available platforms.
Having said all of that, every Thursday, I will highlight the work of one of those authors, and today, it is all about the talented Shari Cross.
“In short: I’m Shari Cross. In not so short: I’m a daydreamer who puts those daydreams into books. When I’m not living in my head with my fictional characters, you can find me teaching second grade in Santa Fe, NM, where I live with my family.”
On July 17th, 2019, Shari published Masked, the first book in the Divided Kingdom Trilogy. Last year, she decided to rerelease the book with a new cover and artwork on the inside.
To say that the book wrecked me would be the understatement of the century. It is such an amazing book, and you can tell the level of talent that Shari has. I’m fortunate enough to be a part of Shari’s ARC and Street Team, so I was given the opportunity to read Book 2 as a Beta Reader. I can’t say much about it, but WOW!
